You know, ever since the Prequel Trilogy came I hated Star Wars....terrible acting stupid plot...the third one was nice...but only ONLY because of Darth Vader. The Main Trilogy (IV-V-VI) was soooo beautiful so masterful, so sleek. Why? Because it wasn't directed by George Lucas (Except for the 4th one) but I loved it and I believed George himself ruined this series by a lousy Prequel Trilogy and truly stupid decisions. But anyway....time for the next Trilogy!
So, so far EVERYONE rejected the idea of directing such movie. JJ Abrams did it because he was faithful to Star trek, Jon Favreu wouldn't do it cause he doesn't think he's up for it, Steven Spielberg CAN'T cause he'll turn it into Future Indiana Jones and Guillermo Del Toro won't do it....cause he doesn't do anything that isn't his.
So, who will do it? No idea...no one willing to. But don't fret...there will be an overly proud director coming along who will RUIN the whole Trilogy...no worries. But seriously do we need more? Maybe. Maybe if it's interesting and it's got something to say, something new without Vader. Possible? Maybe. But it should be taken with EXTREME caution. As Mickey Mouse might appear.
So far, I don't even like the idea of a new Trilogy and the release date....GOD....so soon? Y'all crazy? Anyway, seems all the Directors know it's impossible to do this in a short time and make it great so I'd say....Give It Up!
